Lüdenscheid - closer than you think

Lüdenscheid, the county town of the Märkischer Kreis rural district, is situated in South Westphalia between the Volmetal and the Lennetal.

A 45 motorway

Its proximity to the A 45 motorway means that you can quickly and easily get to all the major cities in the Federal Republic of Germany, as well as to Düsseldorf, Cologne, Dortmund and Frankfurt/Main airports. The B 54 and B 229 federal roads will also bring you to Lüdenscheid. The rail connection via Hagen to Dortmund, and the fast bus service to the InterRegio railway station in Werdohl (Frankfurt/Main to Münster line) link Lüdenscheid to the international railway system.
