Lüdenscheid's Partners around the world
The town of Lüdenscheid has twinned with towns on an international level right from the beginning, this also being under the aspect of an understanding among peoples.
Further development of European integration is nowadays becoming the focus of our attention.
Lüdenscheid is twinned with the following six towns:
- Calderdale/Brighouse (Great Britain) since 1983/1950
- Den Helder (Netherlands) since 1980
- Leuven (Belgium) since 1987
- Myslenice (Poland) since 1989
- Romilly-sur-Seine (France) since 1991
- Taganrog (Russia) since 1991
Lüdenscheid has also special connections with the Town and district of Glatz (now: Klodzko, Poland).
